Generation 2 hub bearings integrate a flanged outer ring that bolts directly to the suspension knuckle, eliminating the press-fit assembly required by Gen 1. The double-row angular contact configuration provides high rigidity and excellent load distribution. Preload is factory-set for optimal performance, and integrated sealing protects against contamination. Widely used in front wheel hubs of mid-size passenger cars, compact SUVs, and light commercial vehicles.
