The GE..C Series maintenance-free spherical plain bearings incorporate a PTFE composite fabric bonded to the inner ring, creating a self-lubricating sliding surface against the hardened outer ring. This eliminates the need for periodic greasing, reducing maintenance costs while providing consistent low friction. The PTFE liner also resists chemical attack. Applications include food processing linkages, cleanroom automation, packaging machinery pivots, and pharmaceutical equipment where grease-free operation is mandatory.
